Former Wallabies Will Genia and Quade Cooper have given the biggest indication that they are returning to the Reds by training at Ballymore.

Cooper has left Toulon and returned to Australia which has led to much speculation that he will play for the Reds again.

The Reds and the Melbourne Rebels have expressed interest in signing Cooper but his former club the Reds appear to be the favourite. He also has a house in Brisbane.

Cooper has to be signed to a Super Rugby franchise to be eligible to play for the Wallabies in the Rugby Championship which starts next month.

The playmaker has not met the 60 Test Cap threshold that would make him eligible so he must sign a deal with an Australian franchise.

The two Super Rugby title winners in 2011 published a picture on Instagram on Friday of them at Ballymore which is the Reds training ground.

Genia has played 66 Test for the Wallabies so he would be eligible to play for the Wallabies.

The pair could be joined in the Rugby Championship by Wallabies Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and Adam Ashley-Cooper even though they missed the series loss to England.
