The Crusaders host the Hurricanes in the last match of the Super 14 for 2006. After nearly 100 matches over three months only the Crusaders and the Hurricanes are still in the competition.


The Crusaders are looking for the their first Super 14 title after winning five Super 12 titles. The Hurricanes have never won a Super rugby title and this is their first appearance in a Super rugby final.
