This was a live score update.

The Crusaders are on their way back to hitting form. Playing Colin Slade at number 10 didn’t work and giving Stephen Brett the 10 jersey seems to have turned the corner for the Crusaders.

Last year: Crusaders 22, Stormers 0 at Cape Town
Head to Head: Crusaders 9, Stormers 3

Last five results

37.00: The Teams go to the air and its all rough stuff. Knock ons and the like.

55.00: Colin Slade has a run which opens up the Stormers until the secondary defence comes in and stops him.

56.00: Brad Thorn puts in a threatening chip kick behind the defence but Jantjes beats him to the ball.

58.00: The Stormers get a break down the line and they more threatening than they have done in quite a while after  Duane Vermeulen has a run. Eventually though the knock on goes in and the Crusaders clear the ball.

60.00: Some individual brilliance is starting to creep in from the Stormers as Jean De Villiers breaks free an chips up. The ball beats Jantjes to the line though.

68.00: Still no change in the score from half time.

72.00: The Crusaders win a penalty so Stephen Brett takes the kick but misses. The kicking woes continue for the Crusaders. It’s now about 45% overall this season for the Crusaders kicking success.

74.00: The Stormers give away a penalty so Stephen Brett takes a shot at goal and slots it for the first points of the second half.

78.00: The Crusaders slam the ball downfield as they try to keep the Stormers in their own half as the minutes tick away.
