Crusaders brawlers exonerated

A police investigation into the late night brawl in Christchurch involving Crusaders players Rua Tipoki, Caleb Ralph, and Jake Paringata has concluded in there being no charges laid.

Brothers Tamati and Mana Riritahi had alleged they had been attacked by some members of the Crusaders squad.

New Zealand Police have issued nothing but warnings to all parties concerned.

“We’re pleased that the police have finished their investigation into this matter, and satisfied with and have accepted their finding,” Crusaders chief executive Hamish Riach said.

“As such, we have no further comment to make on this issue.”
