De Jager to miss Bulls clash with Cheetahs




Pretoria Super Rugby franchise the Bulls have announced that lock Lood de Jager will miss their match this weekend against the Cheetahs after suffering a concussion in his debut match for the Pretoria franchise.

De Jager played his first match for the Bulls against the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday but suffered from concussion.

The lock is in a stable condition and will follow World Rugby’s Return to Play protocol on the sidelines.

The Bulls have announced that three of our players on the long term injury list, Arno Botha, Jannes Kirsten and Adriaan Strauss have resumed selected team sessions. They will however not be available for selection this week.

Jan Serfontein and Martin Dreyer have resumed full training and both players will be available for selection this week.
