The Stormers have made one change to their side to play the Cheetahs in Saturday’s Super 14 clash at Newlands.

Lock Adriaan Fondse comes in for Ross Skeate who played in the side that beat the Western Force in Perth, in the last game of the overseas leg of the Stormers’ campaign.

Fondse brings greater bulk and grunt to the Stormers’ scrum and Skeate is among the reserves, many of whom will be used in an impact role in Saturday’s South African Super 14 derby.

The Stormers’ bench also includes Springbok scrumhalf Bolla Conradie who was forced to return from the Australasia tour with a leg injury.

He has regained fitness and takes the place of Conrad Hoffmann on the reserves’ bench.

Stormers coach Rassie Erasmus has preferred hooker Schalk Brits in the starting line-up ahead of Tiaan Liebenberg who was in outstanding form at the start of the season before he was laid low by injury.

The Stormers Team
