Fiji negotiating for more Super Rugby matches

Negotiations for more Super Rugby matches to be played in Fiji are taking place according to the Fiji Sports Council.

The call for more Super Rugby matches to be played in the Pacific Island nation come after the success of the Chiefs v Crusaders match in Suva last week.

Fiji Sports Council CEO, Litiana Loabuka has confirmed to FijiVillage that they have sent questions to their contacts regarding the negotiations and are awaiting their reply.

Loabuka has thanked the fans that turned up last Friday night for the historic Super Rugby match at ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Loabuka says they are hopeful that more Super Rugby games will be hosted in the country as negotiations continue.
