Former Springbok Heinrich Brussow will leave South Africa and take up a contract with a Japanese club.
The Volksblad newspaper has reported that Brussow will leave for Japan after the Cheetahs complete their Super Rugby commitments.
Brussow will not be available for selection for the Springboks due to the contract but he has not been needed by Bok coach Heyneke Meyer so this does not change the current status quo.
The former Springbok’s contract is understood to allow him to continue playing Super Rugby for the Cheetahs next season.
