At half time the scores were level with a try and penalty goal each. At the 8 minute mark Kahui scored the first points of the match with a try in the corner and Blair missed the conversion.
Four minutes later Ndungane replied with a brilliant try for the Sharks but Brown could not convert.
The Sharks nearly scored another try with Mentz going over in the corner but Blair managed to edge him out to save the try.
The Sharks dominated the second half eventually running out 2 more tries from Mentz and Botes.
