Highlanders bolster side for Stormers

Four players have recovered from injury for the Highlanders, in what could bode as an ominous selection for the Stormers.


Speedster Viliame Waqasaduadua has been cleared from injury and will start his second Super 14 game for the Highlanders. Waqasaduadua has recovered from the knee injury that has sidelined him for the past two weeks.


Glen Horton will start at fullback after recovering from a rib injury.


In other changes to the side that ran out against the Sharks in Durban, All Black lock James Ryan and captain Josh Blackie return to the pack. Hoani MacDonald moves to the second row to partner Ryan while Blackie will make his return at number six.


Alando Soakai retains the number seven jersey after a solid effort last week against the Sharks.


Kane Thompson moves to the bench and Hale T-Pole makes a return to the team on the bench as well. Craig Clare has been cleared of injury and will start the from the reserves, while Aaron Bancroft is bracketed with Jason Kawau to cover the centres.
