Lock Tom Donnelly has re-signed with the Otago Rugby Football Union until the end of the 2010 season.

Donnelly, 26, debuted for Otago in 2002 against Marlborough. He has since played 50 games for the province and 38 games for the Highlanders.

Donnelly was also called into the All Blacks training squad prior to the Iveco Series this year.

Otago chief executive Richard Reid said: ‘It is great to have a player of Tom’s experience re-sign with Otago for a further two years.’

Otago coach Steve Martin said he was delighted Donnelly has decided to stay with Otago.

‘Tom is a senior player who is an integral part of our leadership group and he is a valuable team member on and off the field.’
