Highlanders make five changes for Hurricanes

The Highlanders have named their team to face the Hurricanes on Friday at Invercargill with five changes to the team that lost to the Chiefs last weekend.

In the forwards, Mo Schwalger starts at hooker and Tom Donnelly come into the locking position. Jarrad Hoeata moves to the blindside flank to replace Adam Thomson who was injured against the Chiefs.

In the backs Telusa Veainu, Matt Saunders and Kade Poki come back into the starting the line-up, replacing Siale Piutau, James Paterson who are both injured, and Robbie Robinson, who moves to the bench.

When the teams met earlier in the year the Highlanders won at Westpac Stadium 14-9.

The Highlanders have a bye next weekend.
