Hurricanes and Carlos Spencer part ways

Wellington Super rugby franchise the Hurricanes and Carlos Spencer have agreed that he will finish his Super rugby coaching contract early.

The move has been prompted by the financial uncertainty created by COVID-19.

This means he will not be part of the Hurricanes coaching team for the remainder of Super Rugby Aotearoa.

In a statement the Hurricanes said, ” We would like to thank Carlos for his significant contribution to the Hurricanes and wish him all the best for the future.”

“This is a matter between the Hurricanes and Carlos Spencer and there will be no further comment.”
