The second all New Zealand Super Rugby derby match this weekend is in Wellington where the Hurricanes host the Blues.

The Hurricanes kick off and the match is underway.

1.00: The Hurricanes win an early penalty for a high tackle by Piers Francis. Beauden Barrett will have a shot.

2.00: Barrettt takes the kick and nails it. Hurricanes lead.

5.00: The Blues enjoy a strong period of play pressing the Hurricanes back. The reward is a penalty. Francis takes the shot and nails it to level the scores. Jeff Toomaga-Allen has taken a knock and has been replaced.

8.00: The Blues win the ball and run at the Hurricanes. They go through 6 phases and Ihaia West races through. He chips ahead but the Hurricanes get back to secure the ball. 22 drop out.

11.00: Male S’au, gets the Blues into space and sucks in a couple of defenders and then offloads to Kara Pryor shows his pace and races for the line and scores. TRY! Hurricanes have missed 7 tackles already.

11.00: Francis nails the conversion from outwide. We have learnt that Jeff Toomaga-Allen has a broken right forearm which is why he was replaced.

14.00: The Hurricanes go on the attack and get the ball to the Blues 5m line. Great break from James Marshall. They win a penalty.

15.00: The Hurricanes take a quick tap and work the ball to the line. They are initially held out but then Reggie Goodes goes again and scores. TRY!

16.00: Beauden Barrett takes the conversion kick and nails it. It’s 10 all.

18.00: The Blues almost hit back straight away. Kara Pryor goes for the corner. He is stopped by Steven Luatua goes again. The TMO is called in to check. It’s no try. There is a penalty to the Blues though.

18.00; The Blues turn down the three points and go for the try from the line out. Jerome Kaino gets the ball from the back of the maul and charges over the line and scores in the tackle.

19.00: Francis adds the conversion. Blues lead again.

21.00: The Hurricanes hit back. West loses the ball in the tackle. The ball is kicked ahead by Dane Coles is in a foot race with Piers Francis and Coles wins and dots on the ball. The TMO reviews the try and it is awarded. TRY!

22.00: Barrett adds the conversion and the scores are level again.

23.00: The Blues hit back again. Jerome Kaino races away into space and scores. TRY!

24.00: Piers Francis hits the post with the conversion but it goes in anyway.

28.00; The Hurricanes respond by attacking and getting the ball into the corner. They win a penalty and choose the scrum.

30.00: The Hurricanes continue to attack the Blues on their 5m line. Ardie Savea goes for the line but the Hurricanes fail to release and the Blues get a penalty. West kicks for touch.

32.00: Both teams attack with ball in hand. There is no rest for the players until James Marshall of the Hurricanes goes down and the medics come in. The game resumes with a line out.

35.00: West has a run and chips into space. Barrett gets back and boots the ball into touch. It’s pressure all around.

38.00; Dane Coles has a run for the Hurricanes and bounces off Ofa Tu’ungafasi in the tackle. After a couple of phases the Blues get the ball back and start to attack but get called back for a knock on.

40.00: The scrum sets as the siren sounds. The Blues win the scrum and West puts it into touch to end the half.

It’s half time.

The Blues kick off and the second half is underway.

42.00: The Blues start the half by going through 11 phases on attack. They are unable to get through the Hurricanes but they do win a penalty. Francis will have a shot at goal.

44.00: Francis knocks over the penalty and extends the lead.

46.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. Beauden Barrett takes the kick and he nails it cutting the deficit to 7.

50.00: Penalty in front for the Hurricanes as Piers Francis fails to release the ball. Barrett will have a shot.

51.00: Barrett slots the penalty. Blues lead by 4. Hurricanes chipping away at the lead.

53.00: The Hurricanes are growing in attack. The Blues get the ball and West clears it into touch. He goes down and stays down. It’s unclear what happened and why he fell. It could be cramp. He carries on.

54.00: The Hurricanes are attacking in the Blues 22. Perenara slips a short ball to Vaea Fifita who runs in and scores without being touched. TRY!

55.00: Barrett adds the conversion. The Canes lead.

57.00: The Blues have the ball inside the Hurricanes half. They go through 6 phases gradually pressing the Hurricanes back.

58.00: The Blues continue to go through the phases and on the 1oth phase the Blues have been pushed back to half way so they kick for touch. Piers Francis takes a big knock to shoulder in the tackle. The medics come in.

61.00: The Blues press the Hurricanes back in their half. They have the advantage and go for the corner but then get called back for a penalty. West will have a kick.

63.00: Its Piers Francis who takes the kick and he misses.

65.00: The Blues have the ball on the half way line again. They go through six phases and are gradually making ground. 8 phases. The ball goes wide out to the wing and it goes to ground. The Blues keep the ball alive but it slows.

67.00: The ball goes into touch. Players collapse all over. Julian Savea comes off along with several others. There are changes all over – too many to list.

68.00: Melani Nanai has a run for the Blues and gets them to the Hurricanes 22 but the ball goes into touch.

71.00: The Hurricanes get on the front foot and they attack in the Blues 22. They spread the ball wide and Vaea Fifita runs over West and scores. TRY!

72.00: Barrett adds the conversion.

76.00: The Blues are not giving up as they work the ball into the Hurricanes 22. They go wide and the ball is lost but they are called back for a penalty.

77.0: The Blues take the line out option with the penalty.

78.00: The Blues win the line out and use the maul. It is slow so they break away. The Blues get to the tryline but the Canes turn the ball over and Barrett kicks it into touch.

80.00: The Blues win the line out and attack in the Canes 22 again. They win a penalty, tap it and run.

81.00: The Hurricanes turn the ball over and Barrett chips and chases. The Blues counter attack until it goes dead.

Thats it. Hurricanes win.
