3.00 The Hurricanes win the scrum and start to move the ball down the line.
4.00: The Lions slow their attack but then get blown up for not rolling away. The Hurricanes kick for touch.
5.00: The Lions steal the ball after the line out and kick deep. The Hurricanes counter attack but the Lions turn the ball over and kick it away again.

37.00: The Hurricanes win the line out but the ball goes to ground as the backs pass it down the line. The ball goes over the tryline and is dotted down by the Hurricanes giving the Lions a 55m scrum.
39.00: The Lions win the scrum, Kwagga Smith breaks but is stopped. Nic Groom sells a dummy and dives in to score.

68.00: The Hurricanes work the ball into the Lions 22 but then the Lions turn it over as they have done so many times in this contest. The Lions go through 6 phases and then kick. The ball is caught and then lost forward.
72.00: The game is now stumbling to a conclusion. Everything is being taken slowly.
75.00: Just as everyone is looking a little lethargic Sylvian Mahuza rips a ball out in the tackle and races for the line and scores for the Lions.
76.00: Jantjies adds the conversion.
77.00: After a mess of the restart the Hurricanes get the ball onto the 5m line. They go through the phases but the Lions hold them out.
79.00: The Lions get the ball and run it into space. The final pass is messy though and the Lions concede a penalty.
80.00: The siren sounds so Barrett kicks the ball into touch to end the match.
