The Stormers kick off and the match is underway.

1.00:The Stormers win the ball back after the kick off and the Hurricanes boot it back. The Stormers get the ball into the Hurricanes 22 but they lose the ball and the Hurricanes put it into touch.

3.00: The Stormers win the line out and then get the penalty advantage for not rolling away. The referee plays advantage for almost a minute and then calls the Stormers back for the penalty shot. The Stormers will have a shot at the posts.

4.00: SP Marais slots the penalty kick and the Stormers are on the board.

5.00: The Stormers surge after the restart and run the ball with some slick passing which gets them to the 5m line but the Hurricanes manage to tackle them into touch.

6.00: The Hurricanes win the line out but the ball goes back into touch. The Stormers win the line out and use the maul from the 22m line. They get to the 5m line and the penalty advantage comes for offside. The Stormers kick to the corner but that does not work so they are called back for the penalty. Marais will have another shot.

8.00: Marais nails the kick.

10.00: The Hurricanes get some rare ball and run it from their 22 into the Stormers 22. They get tackled into touch but the Stormers make a mess of the line out.

11.00: The Hurricanes sieze the ball from the line and get the ball to the middle of the field 5m out and start going through the phases and Ben May goes over for the first TRY! His fourth Super rugby try.

12.00: Beauden Barrett slots the conversion and the Hurricanes lead.

16.00: The ball is chipped ahead by the Hurricanes and Ben Lam chases the ball. He gets to it first and goes to score as it rolls over the line and he knocks it on as he tries to control the ball. Try opportunity missed.

19.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. It is in front so Beauden Barrett will have a shot. He nails it.

20.00: The Hurricanes work the ball to the Stormers 22. They get the penalty advantage. The Hurricanes work the ball to the middle of the field and the double whistle goes.  Penalty and a yellow card for not rolling away. Jean-Luc du Plessis is off to the sin bin. The Hurricanes choose a 5m scrum.

21.00: The Hurricanes win the scrum and Richard Judd puts in a grubber and Jordie Barrett chases and scores. TRY!

22.00: Beauden Barrett misses the conversion.

28.00:The Stormers form another maul and drive it almost to the 5m line. They get another penalty advantage from joining from the side. When the maul dissipates the Stormers get the penalty. They kick for touch and take the line out in the corner.

The Stormers win the line out, use the maul and the Siya Kolisi slips off and dives over and scores. TRY!

30.00: Marais takes the conversion and nails it. The Stormers have scored 7 points with a man in the bin.

32.00 The Hurricanes clear the ball from their 22 and the ball hits the camera man near the half way line. After the line out the Hurricanes get the ball and Ben Lam races down the wing but is caught by Dillyn Leyds.

36:00 Penalty to the Stormers. Marais takes the kick and puts the Stormers into the lead.

39.00: The Stormers win a penalty from a big scrum. Marais kicks to the corner.

40.00: The siren sounds as the Stormers maul drives forward. The Hurricanes turn the ball over after the Stormers run it. The Hurricanes lose the ball to the Stormers who get tackled into touch ending the half. No wait, there is a TMO review. Some of the players had to be called out of the tunnel. Vaea Fifita is yellow carded. The Stormers use the maul and Bongi Mbonambi scores. TRY.

42.00: Marais misses the conversion and that really does end the half. Much confusion there.

The Hurricanes kick off and the second half is underway. The Hurricanes start with 14 players.

41.00: The Stormers clear the ball out the back of the scrum and run with pace down the wing but pass the ball forward.

44.00: The Stormers get some attacking ball but Damian de Allende slices it into touch.

46.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. They will have a shot at posts to wind down the clock while Fifita is in the bin.

47.00: Jordie Barrett lines up the kick – he misses.

49.00: The Hurricanes pile into a ruck and it wins them a penalty. They take it quick and go through the phases at pace. They get the penalty advantage and the penalty comes when the Stormers turn the ball over.

51.00: The Hurricanes kick to the corner for the line out. They win the ball and use the maul. When that breaks up they run the ball and go wide to the other side where Chase Tiatia passes to Wes Goosen who uses his pace and dives over in the corner. TRY! 

53.00: Beauden Barrett takes the conversion from the touchline – he nails it and the Hurricanes lead.

57.00: The Stormers get the ball to the 5m line. The Hurricanes hold them out and then a break away drives over the line. The TMO will review it. It’s a TRY. Jaco Coetzee.

58.00: Marais adds the conversion. Stormers lead again.

61.00: The Hurricanes get the ball into the Stormers 22 and We Goosen goes for the corner. He dives over next to the flag and scores. Or does he? The TMO checks the try. It’s good. TRY!

62.00: Barrett misses the conversion.

65.00; The Hurricanes go through the phases on the half way line. They move the ball to the wing but Goosen is stopped and tackled in touch.

69.00: The Hurricanes are starting to press harder at the Hurricanes. After a line out Ardie Savea gets the Hurricanes on the front foot, Jordie Barett makes some ground in the Stormers 22 and then the ball gets to his brother Beauden who uses his pace and darts through and scores near the posts. TRY! 

70.00: Beauden Barrett adds the conversion and now the Hurricanes lead.

72.00: Penalty to the Stormers. Marais boots the ball to the 5m line for the line out. Great kick.

74.00: The Stormers win the line out and try to muscle up in the forwards. The Hurricanes defend their attacks and turn the ball over. The ball is then kicked up-field forcing the Stormers to attack from near the half way line.

75.00: The game is paused as Jaco Coetzee has taken a knock and has to go off for a HIA. The game will resume with a scrum.

77.00: The Stormers form a maul in the Hurricanes 22 but then concede a penalty. The Hurricanes kick for touch.

79.00: The Hurricanes have the ball in their half and are winding down the clock.

80.00: The siren sounds. The ball is kicked into touch – that’s it. The Hurricanes have won.
