The final Super Rugby match on Saturday for Round 5 is in Buenos Aires where the Jaguares host South Africa’s Stormers.

The Jaguares learned a valuable lesson last week at home against the Chiefs who snatched victory at the death when the Jaguares thought they had won it.

The Jaguares scored a late try which might well have been enough against most teams but on this occasion the Chiefs had the final say. It did however demonstrate the Jaguares never say die attitude when they got themselves into the lead so late in the match.

The Jaguares have only played three Super Rugby matches so far and they have lost two and won one. The Stormers have played four matches and won three.

These teams have never played each other in Super Rugby but they did face each other in the pre-season and the Stormers won convincingly (29-14). Pre-season form is rarely a guide though.

For this match Jaguares coach Raul Perez has made six changes including a new front row combination. Felipe Arregui gets his first start at tighthead prop in place of Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro who drops out of the match day 23.

In the second row Matías Alemanno comes into the starting side for Guido Petti and in the back row there is a new cap for Tomas Lezana who replaces Juan M Leguizamon

In the backs Lucas Amorosino starts with Matías Orlando replacing Emiliano Boffelli and Santiago Cordero who both drop to the replacements.

Juan Martín Hernández picked up a knee injury last week and is replaced by Matías Moroni at centre.

The Stormers have made four changes of their own for this week. In the front row hooker Scarra Ntubeni makes his first start of the season, with Bongi Mbonambi moving to the replacements bench.

Lock JD Schickerling will make his Stormers starting debut in place of Pieter-Steph du Toit who is being rested and did not travel to Argentina, with Jan de Klerk in line to earn his second Stormers cap from the bench.

Flank Sikhumbuzo Notshe comes back into the starting line-up, with the experienced Schalk Burger set to make an impact from the replacements bench and Nizaam Carr shifting back to No.8

In the backline Leolin Zas gets another opportunity to start after Dillyn Leyds suffered a knee injury in training which opens a space for Huw Jones on the bench.

The Bookies have given the Stormers a 3 point start for this Match – with an offer of up to $200 in Bonus bets. Last week showed that the Jaguares are growing stronger and they will have learnt from the loss. The Jagures should edge this by two.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on Sky Sports 2.
