.00: PEEEEP! We are underway at Estadio Jose Amalfitani, Buenos Aires.

.00: This will be the last Super Rugby match for the Sunwolves, which is terribly sad because the franchise and their supporters have brought something different to the tournament. They will be missed.

.00: A win tonight, will seal the second spot on the Super Rugby log behind the defending champion Crusaders.

.00: The Sunwolves have kept the ball well, patiently going through the phases into the opposition’s half, but they concede a penalty for a dangerous ruck cleanout.

.00: The first scrum of the game goes the way of the visitors after a Jaguares knock on by the Sunwolves’ 10m.

.00: Both sides are going to the boot in the opening exchanges.

.00: Jamie Booth’s kick doesn’t find touch, but his team-mates were offsides. Los Jaguares also miss their touch, and the tourists counter-attack from deep. The penalty goes the way of the hosts for going off feet at the breakdown.

.00: The Sunwolves collapse the driving maul, but the hosts carry on moving forward. The ball is sent wide, but nothing happens from the advantage.

.00: Matias Orlando opts for touch, again.

.00: Superb defending by the Japanse forwards, holding up the maul before Booth ripped the ball from his opposite number Felipe Ezcurra. Hayden Parker clears the danger, but only to his 22.

.00: TRY! Santiago Carreras, who scored twice against the Reds last weekend, takes Tomas Lezana’s pop-pass and beats the cover defenders to the corner and open the scoring. 5-0

.00: CONVERSION! Domingo Miotti slots the wide kick. 7-0

.00: The Sunwolves win a couple of penalties to release some more pressure. They have struggled to get out of their 22.

.00: A mistake at the lineout gives the visitors a midfield scrum in the Jaguares’ half.

.00: Lezana is having a game, the Sunwolves are not committing to the breakdown and the isolated carrier is pinged for holding.

.00: Lezana intercepts a pass that was meant for Dan Pryor, and races from his 22 to over the halfway line.

.00: The ball is recycled after the flanker is caught by Gerhard Van Den Heever, but the Sunwolves win back possession and clear the danger.

.00: Superb work by Ben Gunter to win the penalty at the ruck. The visitors are under the pump in Argentina. They look to go quickly and almost botch the attack. Luckily for them, Julian Montoya does not release the ball, and the danger is cleared.

.00: A poor lineout – that is not straight – gifts the South Americans good position to launch an attack inside their opponent’s half.

.00: The Sunwolves have mounted a rare attack and are moving into a good attacking position.

.00: TRY! Van Den Heever crosses for his sixth try of the season after Guido Petti’s knock on. Conan O’Donnell collected the loose ball and sent it to the South African-born winger, who raced 50 metres to score after a chip-and-chase to boot. 7-5

.00: The visitors are back in this game and looking good, now.

The halftime score was Jaguares 21 Sunwolves 10

.00: PEEEEP! We are back underway in Buenos Aires.

.00: MISS! The kick is wide. 26-10

.00: NO TRY! Miotti goes close, but the ball bounces over the whitewash. 26-10

.00: NO TRY! Another driving maul ends with Montoya flopping over the whitewash, but on TMO referral, the hooker dropped the ball over the line. 26-10

.00: The Jaguares survive the attack, and almost score a try of their own, except good defending kept them out.

.00: MISS! The kick is wide. 45-10

.00: The ref should just blow his whistle and put the Japanese out of their misery.
