Jones still mulling starting 15 for Brumbies game

QR Queensland Reds Head Coach today named a squad of 23 players for Saturday night’s Investec Super 14 match against the Brumbies at Suncorp Stadium, with the final lineup to be decided closer to the kickoff.


Jones named the same squad that he took to New Zealand last weekend, with the exception of lock Cam Treloar who has recovered sufficiently from a quad muscle injury to fill the vacancy left by Hugh McMeniman (ankle).


The starting 15 and the final 22 will be announced before the match.

Kickoff in the match is at 7:05pm, to be preceded at 6:25pm by a ‘Parade of Champions’, with members of Queensland‘s Team of the Century on hand to help celebrate the 125th anniversary of representative rugby in Queensland.


The curtain raiser match, the Reds Academy versus the Brumby Runners, kicks off at 4:40pm.
