The Stormers will be without team captain Siya Kolisi in this Friday’s Super rugby match against the Rebels on Friday.
Captain Kolisi is being rested while outside back SP Marais and lock Chris van Zyl have both flown back to Cape Town after picking up injuries against the Reds in Brisbane.
Marais has a hip flexor injury, while Van Zyl has been ruled out for at least six weeks due to a back injury.
The Cape Town based side have called up centre Dan Kriel and hooker Chad Solomon as back up for their final tour game against the Rebels on Friday in Melbourne.
