The Sharks have been given a boost ahead of this week’s Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes as Patrick Lambie has returned to training.
Lambie returning to training is a boost for the Sharks and also for newley appointed Springbok coach Allister Coetzee.
According to SuperSport Lambie has said that he is not sure if he would play against the #Hurricanes this weekend but that he is “fit and hungry to play just as soon as selected”.
The Sharks are unlikely to rush Lambie back into action as Garth April was solid in his two starts against the Highlanders and the Chiefs so Lambie will most likely be named on the replacements benh.
This weekend’s match against the Hurricanes is an interesting one for the Durban side as their head coach Chris Boyd and assistant coach John Plumtree have been involved with the Sharks and the latter will no doubt still be harbouring some anger towards the Durban franchise after the way they axed him.
