Argentina’s new head coach Mario Ledesma has named his team to play South Africa’s Springboks at Kings Park in Durban on Saturday.
Ledesma has included prop Juan Figallo who plays for English Premiership club Saracens was not included in the original 36-strong squad named by former hooker Mario Ledesma.
Figallo’s inclusion comes as a surprise as it signals that Argentina have relaxed their policy of only selecting home based players.
International players not in Argentina have not been included in the national side since the 2015 World cup.
Prop Figallo is joined in the front row by loosehead Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro and captain and hooker Agustin Creevy.
Figallo is also one of three changes to the forward pack that lost to Scotland in June and he replaces Juan Diaz with Chaparro switching sides.
Marcos Kremer and Javier Ortega Desio come into the back row replacing Tomas Lezana and Leonardo Senatore.
Ledesma has opted to to retain fullback Emiliano Boffelli, winger Bautista Delguy, inside centre Bautista Ezcurra and flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez.
The coach has however brought in outside centre Matias Moroni, winger Ramiro Moyano and scrumhalf Gonzalo Bertranou instead of Matias Orlando, Sebastian Cancelliere and Martin Landajo who is rotated to the bench.
Replacement Julian Montoya misses out on selection and instead uncapped Diego Fortuny is the replacement hooker on the bench.
