In the Lions Executive Committee meeting held last night, an interim procedure was decided on to provide continuity within the Lions.
Therefore Mr. Peet Buys has been appointed as the Acting CEO for a four month period.
“During this time we need to finalize the refinement of our structures and we have set a deadline of two months to do that so as to allow us to know exactly what roles and responsibilities will lie with the new CEO.
We will embrace an open and transparent process for the recruitment of the new CEO.” Chairman of Lions (Pty) Ltd, Professor Jannie Ferreira said.
