Lions make four Currie Cup changes for Cheetahs

Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has made four changes to his team for this week’s sixth round Currie Cup clash against the Free State Cheetahs.

Ackermann has made four changes to the team that beat the Griquas 32-38 in Kimberley last weekend..

In the forwards, CJ van der Linde will start at loosehead as Jacques van Rooyen drops to the bench.

Willie Wepener will also start this match at hooker with Robbie Coetzee providing cover off the wood.

Bees Roux will start at tighthead, while Warwick Tecklenberg is promoted from the bench.

There have been no changes to the Golden Lions backline for this fixture which will kick off on Friday at 19h10 (local time).
