Lions name Super rugby squad for Jaguares tour

Lions Super rugby head coach Ivan van Rooyen has named a 25 man Super rugby squad to play the Jaguares in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

The squad is made up of 15 forwards and 10 backs but does not include Wandisile Simelane and Jamba Ulengo has a grade 2 tear of his calf muscle and was not eligible for selection for the tour.

Fullback Andries Coetzee is also left behind as he has only recently returned from playing in Japan.

One notable inclusion is that of form Springbok prop Jannie du Plessis who has not played Super rugby since 2015.
