Johannesburg’s Lions have named a Super rugby squad of 26 players for their upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The Lions will play matches against the Brumbies, Chiefs and the Crusaders on their tour of Australasia.
While the Lions have named a squad of 26 players they expect to call up a 27th player after their match against the Brumbies.
In the meantime the Lions have put a number of players on standby and they include : Harold Vorster, James Venter ,Jan Henning Champher , Tyrone Green , Wandisele Simelane and Warren Whiteley.
The touring squad will be led by Malcolm Marx.
The Lions’ fixtures on tour are: 13 April: vs Brumbies (Canberra) 19 April: vs Chiefs (Hamilton) 26 April: vs Crusaders (Christchurch)
