Lions Super Rugby head coach Swys de Bruin has named a team with a few changes for this Saturday’s Super Rugby match against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires.

The Lions will have a new front row as Jacques van Rooyen and Ruan Dreyer start as props and Robbie Coetzee as the hooker.

Springbok Malcolm Marx has been rotated to the replacements bench where Dylan Smith and Johannes Jonker also provide cover.

As Warren Whiteley is still injured Franco Mostert captains the side and in his regular lock position after playing flank in recent weeks.

Mostert’s move means there is a new loose trio and Robert Kruger replaces Mostert at No 7 and Cyle Brink starts at No 6 for Kwagga Smith.

In the backs Marco Jansen van Vuren is the starting scrumhalf while Rohan Janse van Rensburg moves from wing inside centre. Sylvian Mahuza is named on the wing.
