Lions start Skosan against Bulls

Lions Super rugby head coach Swys de Bruin has named Courtnall Skosan to start his first match of the season on Saturday when they host the Bulls in Johannesburg.

Prolific try-scorer Skosan has a tally of 25 Super Rugby tries since joining the Lions in 2014.

He runs out in his 56th SR match this weekend while Franco Mostert will celebrate his 80th Super rugby cap.

After 15 rounds in Super Rugby this year the Lions have dropped to third place in the overall standings but will still host a home play off regardless of the result agains the Bulls as they have won the South African conference again.

    The Jaguares could still win the SA Conference, so the Lions either need a result against the Bulls or they need the Sharks to get a result against the Jaguares.
