Chiefs utility Mils Muliaina has torn his hamstring and is expected to be out of the Super 14 for 1-2 weeks.

The Chiefs do however have the bye this week so Muliaina would  only be able to play in two weeks if fit. The Chiefs next match is against the Crusaders.

He is said to be “touch and go” for that Crusaders match.

Muliaina picked up the injury early in the first half of the Chiefs big win over the Brumbies on Friday night.

On a positve note for the Chiefs, Stephen Donald has recovered from a neck injury and took part in training on Monday.
