The Rugby Championship returns on Saturday in Round 3 when New Zealand’s All Blacks host Argentina’s Pumas in Hamilton.
The All Blacks (in first place) are the only unbeaten team remaining in the Rugby Championship after beating Australia twice.
Argentina are third having lost to South Africa once and beaten them once. South Africa are second on points difference.
The All Blacks and Pumas last met in September last year during the Rugby World Cup and the match was won 26-16 by the All Blacks.
Overall the All Blacks have played Argentina 22 times since 1985 and the All Blacks have won 21 matches. There was one draw in 1985 when the teams met for the second time.
Since then the All Blacks have won the last 20 matches with an average score of : New Zealand 40 Argentina 13.
On New Zealand soil the teams have met 12 times and the All Blacks have a perfect record with an average score of : New Zealand 47 Argentina 11.
The teams have met three times already in Hamilton (1997, 2004 and 2013) and the All Blacks have won all three with an average score of 44-10.
For this match Argentina have made three changes to the side that beat South Africa two weeks ago. Inpirational loose forward Juan Manuel Leguizamon, lock Tomas Lavini and wing Manuel Montero have been left out of the squad.
Instead Olympic Sevens flyer Moroni Matias starts on the right wing which pushes Santiago Cordero to the left wing.
In the forward pack Javier Ortega Desio starts at openside flanker while Guido Petti has been promoted from the bench to the second row.
New Zealand have also made three changes for this match and Ryan Crotty returns at second five-eighth, with Anton Lienert-Brown moving to the 23 jersey while Codie Taylor is named at replacement hooker and Luke Romano comes onto the bench as lock cover.
All Blacks Captain Kieran Read will play his 90th Test match on Saturday while prop Owen Franks will play his 83rd.
