The Reds will have to do without exciting winger Caleb Brown for a little longer, after a recurrence of his hamstring injury forced him off the field at training Wednesday.
Brown has been sidelined for a month, but was on course to make his comeback against the Lions in a Super 14 Round Five match at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.
Instead he limped off the training paddock a downcast figure after aggravating the injury early in the session.
Coach Eddie Jones will name his team to play the Lions Thursday.
