This match can only go one way. Ok the Stormers should not be written off completely after all the Stormers have won 5 out of 3 Newlands matches.

15.00 : The Crusaders were the first with a chance to score as expected but their first points came from a penalty as Stormers fly half Peter Grant put in a high tackle. Dan Carter takes the penalty and slots the penalty.  


24.00: The Crusaders scored the first try as Andrew Ellis dummied a metre out and dived over the line to score the try.


25.00: Dan Carter missed the conversion.


38.00: The Stormers give away a penalty and Dan Carter takes it from almost the corner flag. The kick is successful.


40.00: Half time.


The Half time Score is Stormers 0 Crusaders 11


47.00 : The Crusaders looked like they would score in the 47th minute as they kicked through. Robbie Diack caught the ball and called the mark however.


49.00: The Stormers then gave a penalty away and Dan Carter slotted it taking the Crusaders to two converted tries ahead.


51.00: Dan Carter makes a break from the restart. He runs the ball up and the forwards drive it up to the line. The Crusaders reform and the ball gets out to Carter who puts in a perfectly placed cross kick to Sean Maitland waiting on the wing. Real style !


52.00: Dan Carter misses the conversion.


54.00: The Crusaders are warming up nicely. They run the ball from their 25 and Sean Maitland thinks he has scored again but a foot was in touch so there is no try.


58.00: Ricky Januarie gives a penalty away so Dan Carter has a shot at goal which is successful.


62.00: The Stormers are awarded a penalty and instead of going for posts they opt for the lineout. From the lineout they get a penalty. Again they go for the lineout.


64.00:The lineout is good. the form a maul. The ball goes to ground and don’t release the ball – free kick to the Crusaders.


69.00: The Crusaders are awarded a penalty almost in front of the posts. They opt for the lineout. They go to ground and just like the Stormers earlier they give away a free kick.


75.00 : Tonderai Chavhanga makes a break. He passes to Grant who kicks up as Carter did earlier and the runner on the wing is Gio Aplon who fluffs the catch.


80.09: The Siren goes.
