Rassie names Stormers team to face Crusaders

Rassie Erasmus, head coach of the Vodacom Stormers, today announced his team to play the Crusaders at Newlands on Friday 29 February.


Pieter Myburgh will make his Super 14 debut as he is named in place of suspended Schalk Burger at flank for the Stormers Friday night against the Crusaders at Newlands.


Burger was suspended for two weeks on Tuesday after being charged with acting in a manner that was considered to be contrary to good sportsmanship.


Robbie Diack is named on the bench after he played at No.8 for WP in a match on Saturday.


The rest of the team in unchanged and Conrad Jantjes retains the fullback berth and Gcobani Bobo has been declared fit to play after limping off in last week’s Sharks match just after half time.


Both players had been in doubt with ankle injuries.
