Reds pick up second citing from Highlanders match




Reds player Ben Tune has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle in the Rebel Sport Super 14 match between the Highlanders and the Reds at Carisbrook, Dunedin, last night, Friday 9 March.

Tune was cited by Citing Commissioner Mike O’Leary for the incident in the 39th minute of the match.

He will appear before a SANZAR Judicial Officer at the Otago Rugby Football Union offices in Dunedin today, Saturday 10 March, with the hearing starting at 10.30am.

It was a bad night at the office for the Reds as they lost the match 33-17 and they Reds also picked up another citation when David Croft was cited after receiveing his third yellow in four matches.
