The Reds have played the Sunwolves five times in Super Rugby since 2016; the Reds have won four matches and lost one.

Queensland’s four wins out of five give them a record of winning 80% of their matches against the Sunwolves regardless of venue.

The Sunwolves kick off and the match is underway.

2.00: The Reds make a great start and get the ball through 14 phases and into the Sunwolves 22 but the visiting side turn the ball over and boot the ball into touch.

4.00: The Reds set up a 5m line out. They use the maul to work the ball to the line Liam Wright drops off the back, rolls over and gets the ball down and scores. TRY! The TMO confirms.

5.00: Jock Campbell misses the conversion but the Reds have a 5-0 lead.

6.00: The Reds attack and move the ball down the line. Chris Feauai-Sautia gets the ball on the wing but he is closed down. The Reds recycle and drive for the line where drives over. TRY! 

7.00: Campbell adds the conversion.

12.00: The Reds are awarded a penalty for joining the ruck incorrectly. They kick to the corner.

13.00: The Reds win the line out and on the second phase Hunter Paisami gets the ball at pace a couple of metres out and scores. TRY! 

16.00: Campbell adds the conversion.

18.00: James O’Connor breaks through the Sunwolves defence and offloads to Chris Feauai-Sautia on the wing but James Dargaville manages to stop the attack with a try-saving tackle.

22.00; The Sunwolves get some attacking ball and they run it into the Reds 22 where they win a penalty. The Sunwolves choose to kick the ball into touch and take the line out.

23.00: The Sunwolves win the line out and they get the advantage – when the ball slows they get the penalty. They take the scrum but the Reds get the turnover.

25.00: The Reds are given a free-kick from the scrum and kick for touch. The Reds win the line out and drive 20m up the field and then move the ball wide out to the backs.

29.00: The Reds attack and they pass the ball down the line but change direction in a scissors move which opens a gap for Tate McDermott who scores. TRY! 26-0.

30.00: Campbell who had a hand in the try adds the conversion.

31.00: The TMO is called in to review some foul play. Ben Te’o is yellow carded for a shoulder charge.

34.00: The Reds attack again and this time Lukhan Salakaia-Loto scores in the corner. TRY!

35.00: Campbell misses the conversion from near the touchline.

38.00: The Sunwolves work the ball through a couple of phases but the Reds turn it over.

40.00: The siren sounds as the Reds move the ball down the wing, Henry Speight almost gets away but is caught and offloads the ball back to James O’Connor who scores in the corner. TRY!

41.00: Campbell takes the conversion but misses.

It’s half time. 36-0.

The Reds kick off and the second half is underway.

43.00: The Reds attack and Tate McDermott kicks and chases and regains the ball and drops on it to score. TRY! 43-0.

44.00: Campbell converts the try.

48.00: The Sunwolves run the ball down the line but there is an intercept and Hamish Stewart runs away with the ball and scores. TRY!

49.00: Campbell adds the conversion. 50-0.

51.00: The Sunwolves lose fullback Jordan Jackson-Hope to injury and he limps from the field.

56.00: The Sunwolves get some attacking ball but they chip it upfield to chase but James Dargaville slips a foot in touch. It is just not happening for the Sunwolves.

61.00: The Reds attack the Sunwolves in the Japanese side’s 22 but go off their feet so the Sunwolves have a penalty. The Reds are losing their shape a little.

65.00: The Sunwolves clear the ball from a ruck and they kick across the field for Siosaia Fifita who beats Henry Speight and scores. TRY for the Sunwolves.

66.00: The conversion is missed the Sunwolves are on the board.

The Reds hit back immediately. Jock Campbell counter attacks and dodges two tackles and offloads to Josh Nasser who scores. TRY!

71.00: The Reds set up their attack and Isaac Lucas shrugs off two tacklers and runs in the TRY.

72.00:Bryce Hegarty misses the conversion.

74.00: The Sunwolves attack the Reds in their 22, Fifita comes close to scoring but the Reds keep him out. The Sunwolves recycle the ball and James Dargaville gets it next to the flag and leaps over the line to score. The TMO reviews the try but there was a foul in the build up so no try.

76.00: The Reds kick the ball upfield to chase but the Sunwolves kick it back. The Reds try to run it but the Sunwolves turn the ball over and run it. The ball gets knocked on at the breakdown. Reds ball at the scrum.

79.00: the Reds set up a maul and drive into the Sunwolves 22. It breaks up so the Reds go wide. When they are stopped we go back for the penalty.

80.00: The siren sounds as the Reds kick to the corner for the line out.

81.00: The line out is overthrown and the ball is knocked on which ends the match.
