Rogers makes his return for Waratahs




HSBC Waratahs hooker Adam Freier will play his fiftieth match for NSW in Sunday’s clash with the Brumbies at Aussie Stadium.

26 year old Freier ‘ who started his representative career in Canberra ‘ will also make his fiftieth Super Rugby appearance in Sunday’s game.

Waratahs head coach Ewen McKenzie has made four changes to his starting line up for this match, including the return from a rib injury of flyhalf and playmaker Mat Rogers.

‘Daniel Halangahu stood up against the Crusaders but you can’t ignore a fit Mat Rogers,’ HSBC Waratahs head coach Ewen McKenzie said.

Versatile back Sam Norton-Knight has won selection at inside centre for the first time this season, while prop Benn Robinson returns to the starting line up in place of Matt Dunning.

Rocky Elsom is the last change to the starting line up, coming in at blindside flanker for the injured Wycliff Palu.

Lock Will Caldwell returns to the bench after missing selection against the Crusaders, while Leroy Houston has been named as 23rd man for the first time this year.
