Flyhalf Loki Crichton kicked seven penalties and the conversion of his team’s only try to lead Samoa over Australia’s Western Force 28-24 in a rugby match on Saturday.
The Force, Super 14 tailenders, scored four tries to one but Crichton’s relentless barrage of penalties saw Samoa to a narrow win.
Lolo Lui scored Samoa’s only try while Gareth Hardy, Digby Ioane and Haig Sare scored tries for the home side, which was also awarded a penalty try.
