Eddie Andrews and Solomzi Tyibilika were recalled to the squad after missing out on the one-match tour to Australia for the first leg of the Mandela Challenge.

Springbok coach Jake White said players who were not selected for the Ellis Park match, will be considered for the 28-man Vodacom Tri-Nations squad.

This match also present us with an opportunity to give some of the other players in the squad a run before we start the defence of our Vodacom Tri-Nations trophy,” said White.

The Springbok squad of 27 will assemble on Thursday, 14 July 2005 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. The team will practise daily at St John’s College in Houghton.
