Sharks re-sign former captain Keegan Daniel

Durban based Super Rugby team the Sharks have revealed that former captain
Keegan Daniel will return to South Africa and play Super Rugby for the Sharks
in 2016.

Daniel has spent the last two seasons playing rugby in Japan for the Kubota
Spears and has now set his sights on playing Super Rugby again.

Daniel has already won 199 caps for the Sharks – 59 as captain – and led the
team to Currie Cup glory in 2013.

Commenting on his signing, The Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold said: “Keegan’s
record at the Cell C Sharks speaks volumes about the impact he had at this franchise
as well as the calibre of player he is.

“We look forward to welcoming him home.”
