The HSBC Waratahs walking wounded now includes scrumhalf Brett Sheehan who has been sidelined for up to three weeks with a rib injury.
Sheehan aggravated the injury during Saturday’s thrilling one point loss to the Crusaders at Aussie Stadium.
‘I hurt it against Auckland and by the second tackle against the Crusaders I knew I was in trouble,’ said Sheehan.
‘It’s pretty painful, I’ve only had five hours sleep since the game. I’d really like to play against Queensland but we’ll just have to wait and see.’
The HSBC Waratahs line-up to meet the Brumbies in Canberra this weekend will be announced on Wednesday.
