Six changes for Drotske’s Cheetahs against Blues

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made six changes to the team that lost their Super 14 match against the Hurricanes 29-12 in New Plymouth last weekend, for Friday’s match against the Blues in North Harbour.

The most interesting selection is that of Meyer Bosman, who played Test rugby as a flyhalf, who has been moved back to inside centre with Jacques-Louis Potgieter retained as pivot where he played against the Hurricanes.

In other changes, wing Danwel Demas replaces Fabian Juries, Corn’ Uys comes in for Piet van Zyl at centre, Tewis de Bruyn returns as scrumhalf in place of Sarel Pretorius.

Springbok hooker Adriaan Staruss is back to replace his cousin Richardt Strauss, and Nico Breedt starts as lock in place of Flip van der Merwe.
