Sharks Coach Dick Muir has made just one change to the side beat the Chiefs last week in the final round robin match that secured a spot in this Saturday’s semi-final clash with the Waratahs at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Francois Steyn has recovered from his rib injury and has been cleared to play after missing out last week. He displaces Bradley Barritt to the bench with Andries Strauss falling out of the match 22.

“The Waratahs were probably the only side that gave us a hiding this year,” said Dick Muir on the Sharks website.

“They outmuscled us in the breakdown, and showed themselves to be a side who retains the ball well. Our kicking game and the breakdown were two areas we needed to fix against them which we feel we did in the last few games.”

He admitted that tough lessons were learned from that game. “We went there wanting to play a certain way and they beat us that way.”
