Preview

 

The Sharks will be looking to make improvements on last week as they scraped home against the Force at home. The result was in doubt until the end but it was made a bit more comfortable by a 55m penalty goal from Springbok back Frans Steyn with a few minutes left on the clock.

64.00: Rassie Erasmus is playing games with his players, first he moves Sireli Naqelevuki into scrum half then he moves Luke Watson into the position before Ricky Januarie comes back to play at scrum half.

 

65.00: Replacement Dylan des Fountain comes on and is almost immediately sent off with a yellow card.

 

66.00: Rory Kockott slots another penalty for the Sharks bringing them to within a point.

 

71.00: Rory Kockott slots another penalty to put the Sharks in front for the first time.

 

75.00: The Sharks step up the pace in order to secure the win but the Stormers refuse to lie down.

 

77.00 Mujati gets some attention as Dylan des Fountain comes back on so the Stormers will finish with 15 men.

 

79.00: Schalk Burger gives away a penalty.

 

81.00 : The Stormers knock on, the Siren goes – the Sharks win.
