The Stormers have suffered a significant blow for the Super Rugby season as Kurt Coleman has been ruled for the season.

Coleman suffered a freak injury in that he ruptured his knee/ACL in training and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Stormers coach Robbie Fleck says that he will start Jean-Luc du Plessis against the Sunwolves and Cheslin Kolbe will provide cover for flyhalf and Huw Jones can provide cover for Kolbe.

The loss to Coleman is a blow to the Stormers as Coleman had come into the starting side after Robert du Preez was injured playing against the Cheetahs and is only expected back shortly before the June Internationals.

Meanwhile Stormers coach Robbie Fleck has revealed that he expects Eben Etzebeth to miss the next four weeks of Super Rugby.
