The lock has shoulder and back injuries from that final Test match and is expected to miss all of the Stormers Super Rugby matches until May at the least.

According to reports Doctors have said that Etzebeth could be back in May which gives him little time to work on his form and prove his fitness for the three test series against England in June this year.

The Stormers start their Super Rugby season on 17 February against Argentina’s Jaguares.
