Stormers flyhalf Demetri Catrakilis has signed a two year contract with Top
14 side Montpellier for next season.

Twenty-five Catrakilis played for Western Province and the Southern Kings but
has now moved back to Cape Town where he is part of the Stormers squad.

Catrakilis will be coached by South Africa’s 2007 World Cup coach Jake White
who replaced former France captain Fabien Galthie at the end of last year.

The flyhalf will be a back up player for Montpellier’s first choice number
10 Francois Trinh-Duc who is also France’s first choice pivot.

Montpellier have dropped to eighth in the Top 14 since Trinh-Duc broke his
leg in October.

Catrakilis has signed a two year contract with the French club but has an option
for a third year.
