19.00: The Brumbies gave a penalty away for offsides so Peter Grant took the penalty kick and slotted it.


21.00: Steve Walsh becomes the most popular man in Newlands as he awards a penalty try and yellow card  Christian Lealiifano for an early tackle on Gcobani Bobo. The Brumbies were very hard done by as it probably wasn’t worth a penalty try. Bob was not even taken to ground a try was not certain.

27.00: With the Brumbies being down to 14 men they are forced into making mistakes and give away a penalty. Peter Grant takes the kick and slots it.


36.00: The Brumbies go on attack and they get the overlap and a Stormers hand deliberately knocks the ball to ground. Steve Walsh awards a penalty – no penalty try or yellow card. The Brumbies run the ball from the penalty.


38.00: The Brumbies again get the overlap and Saia Faingaa looks certain to score a try but Andries Bekker gets back in time to stop the try.

74.00: Tony Brown comes close to scoring a try for the Stormers after a Luke Watson break but the Brumbies defence gets back in time.


79.00: The Brumbies come close to scoring a try in the corner so Steve Walsh goes upstairs and the TV ref says a legitimate try was scored.

80.26: The Siren goes for full time. There is a scrum and the Brumbies run it. Bobo gets the ball and kicks it out.
