The HSBC Waratahs are expecting a hostile environment but are looking forward to their week thirteen Super 14 encounter with the Stormers at Newlands, Cape Town, early on Sunday morning (Sydney time).

Rassie Erasmus has named an unchanged Stormers squad for the clash, while the Waratahs take on a slightly different look with Matt Carraro earning his first starting cap and Lote Tuqiri moving to fullback.

A crowd approaching 50 thousand is expected at Newlands with conditions cool and overcast and a high chance of rain.

‘It’s probably the biggest game of the weekend with a lot of people watching and a lot of other teams looking on to see how the result impacts on the points table,’ said Tuqiri.

‘It’s added pressure but I think we’re up to it.

‘The build up this week has been pretty phenomenal and we’re expecting a massive and vocal crowd.

‘We’ve tried to keep our preparation low key but we certainly know this is a big game with a lot at stake for both teams.’

Fox Sports 3 will broadcast the match live in Australia at 03:00am.
