.00: The Stormers turn the ball over again, this time inside the opposition’s 22, and they waste an early opportunity to strike back.

.00: The home team win an early lineout and build a solid looking maul. They go a couple of phases with the big ball carriers but Marais decides to change direction, aiming for the vacant right wing, but his kick is too long. 22 drop-out for the visitors.

.00: Good defending by the home pack, they sack the maul before it can get going. The Jaguares regroup and are going through the phases. The attacking move ends with a knock on, but Mr Peyper was playing advantage. It was Kolisi who was pinged for a high tackle on Tomas Cubelli.

.00: Stormers are dominating territory but not possession; they keep turning the ball over inside the South American’s 22. Their kicking has been average, too.

.00: Damian Willemse comes on at flyhalf for Jean-Luc du Plessis, who leaves for an HIA. Moroni penalised giving Marais a chance to extend his side’s lead.

.00: PENALTY! It’s good from the utility back. 13-8

.00: Willemse starts with a good clearance kick to relieve some pressure. Pieter-Steph du Toit hits Pablo Matera at the gain line; it looked like a car crash but both get-up and continue.

.00: Sebastian Cancelliere, on for Delguy, cleans up after he loses the ball backwards and under pressure.

.00: The Jaguares are meeting the Stormers’ physicality but it’s their hands; their execution that is letting them down. A couple of scrum resets before half time.

.00: Willemse throws a long floated pass to Leyds on the wing, but it drifts forwards; that’s the third one like that thrown today.

.00: The Stormers win a late penalty for holding at the ruck. Marais is calling for the tee to have a last gasp shot at goal before the interval. He’s three from three, tonight and he has a big boot.

.00: PENALTY! The 29-year-old makes no mistake. that must have been 54 metres and the ball sailed over the crossbar. 16-8

.00: The Jaguares kick to the corner, but some superb defensive work sees the Stormers hold the tourists up. It’s still Jaguares’ ball.

.00: MASSIVE SCRUM by the Stormers! They win the penalty; Fourie redeems himself and Fleck’s team can clear.

.00: CONVERSION! Jean-Luc du Plessis adds another two. 30-8

.00: It’s a bit scrappy, now. Gonzalo Quesada’s substitutions are not having the desired effect, in fact, the South Americans are looking tired, despite many being rested last weekend. He will be disappointed with his team.

.00: A scuffle breaks out after a high tackle by Javier Ortega Desio on Justin Phillips. It’s pretty standard at this stage of the game, especially when one team is dominating.

.00: The forward pack opts for a scrum, which of course, is reset.

.00: The Stormers shunt the Jaguares backwards, but they don’t get awarded a penalty, instead, Desio picks up the ball and breaks.

.00: The attack breaks down with another handling error, gifting possession away.

.00: Penalty to the hosts. They are killing the opposition’s pack.

.00: Fleck’s men are camped inside the visitor’s 22. Willemse made a break but lost the ball in the tackle as he tried to release and get up to continue.

.00: The scrums are a mess; it’s Wilco Louw who is pinged for not binding. What can the tourists conjure?

.00: It’s scrappy at the death. The Jaguares keep losing possession and the Stormers keep pinning them back in their half with some excellent kicking by Leyds, Du Plessis and Willemse.

.00: TRY! Phillips crashes over from close range. Bongi Mbonambi broke from the rolling maul, was stopped short of the line, but the scrumhalf gathered and shot over four the bonus-point score. 35-8

.00: MISS! The kick is no good. 35-8

.00: Juan Manuel Leguizamon knocks on after a turnover, and that’s the ball-game.
