Sunwolves rotate for Stormers clash

Sunwolves head coach Mark Hammett has made sweeping changes to his Super Rugby team to play the Stormers at Newlands in Cape Town.

Tusi Pisi has been rested for the match and Yu Tamura moves from centre to flyhalf for the Sunwolves second match in South Africa.

Hammett has also handed starting debuts to Masataka Mikami, Shinya Makabe, Yuki Yatomi and Derek Carpenter while Ziun Gu has been named on the replacements bench for the first time.

There is a new front row with props Keita Inagaki and Shinnosuke Kakinaga being rotated to make way for Masataka Mikami and Takuma Asahara respectively.

Ed Quirk moves from No.8 to flanker and Tomas Leonardi comes off the replacements bench and starts at No.9.

Andrew Durutalo drops down to the replacements bench while Hitoshi Ono is replaced by starting debutant Shinya Makabe.

In the backs Kaito Shigeno has been replaced by Yuki Yatomi at scrumhalf to partner Tamura while Harumichi Tatekawa is replaced by Mifiposeti Paea.
